🤔Now let's talk about the difference between FOLLOWERS of Christ and GOSSIPERS of Christ.
First, let's cover 'following'. If we are in a forest and I'm 'following' you, then that means I am going to do what you do or did, do what you say or said and I'm going to HEED your warnings.
I am also following you because you have experience, have been here before and are considered as the expert in this territory. The case can ALSO be that we are friends or family and I TRUST you.
Gossiping next.
By definition...
Gossip is the informal, often idle, sharing of information about absent individuals' personal lives, ranging from harmless chatter to malicious rumors. It serves to strengthen social bonds, manage reputations, and foster cooperation, but can also cause severe psychological distress, erode trust, and create toxic environments, making it a powerful tool for both connection and division.
All that is to simply say that 'gossiping' about someone is to 'talk about' what they do or did, say or said and to talk about their warnings. Some talk negative some positive. But DOING is not a part of gossip.
This is where I might piss some people off.
These churches, most of em'...
Their leaders, congregations...
In this particular case, I am talking about the so called 'Christians'.
Are your leaders doing what he did? Are they doing what he said? Are they heeding his warnings? Are their congregations? Are YOU?
Or are most church leaders and their congregations just 'talking/gossiping' about Christ?
Instead of saying what I notice, what I know and what I think... I'll just ask.
Tell you what though...
'Followers' of Christ know that he NEVER told anybody that he was Christ nor did he ever tell anybody to be or become a 'Christian'. He studied all types of world cultures and belief systems and sat down with many of their leaders making friends with most of them. While at the same time not labeling himself with any of them.
He also lived a certain way, which I do not have to translate into our times because we all have that built in from the day we arrived too.
We know what he would be for and against in these times if he were to speak on or live in our world today in real time.
Now I'm from Queens, so I know how bugged out that sounds and seems, but man lived God's way for millions of years BEFORE the current systems and governments were in place. Which is to say that there is another way of life that of course is overshadowed by the secular world and it's institutions.
I'm not going to get into that either but... There IS another way.
Now in respect to other beliefs and cultures, this question can be applied to most spiritual leaders and their congregants.
Not a question I am asking for myself. A question everyone should ask themselves.
If you have no beliefs or cultural lifestyle at all that's cool too. But the people claiming titles and denominations and to be a certain way and believe in certain things should be held accountable.
And the difference between the followers of Christ and Gossipers of Christ need be emphasized and kept in mind.
I do find it funny how the Gossipers usually laugh at the followers and call them crazy. I find it absolutely insane by definition that Gossipers even get angry at and have disdain for followers. That... Is wild to me. I mean I get it, but it's STILL wild.
Rant over...
That'll be all soldiers... Carry on.
