Ok so you've been hearing about the 'Sloth Muscle' Challenge and have been seeing it all over the place. What is it? How does it work? Does it even work?
Well now...
HELL YEAH IT WORKS!
How it works is by taking your favorite exercises and performing them based on a 3 second, 5 second or 10 second 'isometric negative' method. For instance, when performing a squat, you take ten seconds to drop to the position of being parallel to the ground then hold for 10 seconds. Then take 10 seconds to raise back up to starting position. That is ONE Sloth Muscle squat. ONE rep.
The challenge is to take your favorite exercises and perform them at this pace. First try 3 second ratio reps with your favorite exercise. See how many you can do. If you can reach ten reps easily, move up to 5 second rep ratios. If THAT is easy, move up to 10 second rep ratios.
